Florida Extension Plant Disease Clinic (FEDPC) - Gainesville, FL is the resource diagnostic clinic for the Florida Plant Diagnostic Network (http://fpdn.ifas.ufl.edu/index.htm) and the location of the Rapid Turfgrass Diagnostic Service (http://turfpath.ifas.ufl.edu/turfgrass/). 

FEDPC-Gainesville is also the hub clinic for the Southern Plant Diagnostic Network (http://spdn.ifas.ufl.edu/) and a participating clinic in the National Plant Diagnostic Network (http://www.npdn.org/DesktopDefault.aspx ).  

Specific areas of diagnostic expertise include: Asian Soybean Rust, Citrus Greening, Fusarium Wilt of Palm, Lethal Yellowing of Coconut Palm, Sudden Oak Death, Tomato Mottle Virus and Tomato Yellow Leaf Curl Virus.  FEDPC-Gainesville personnel support the educational activities of the Department of Plant Pathology by providing internships for Doctor of Plant Medicine and other graduate students, through participation in departmental courses, and Extension Agent and Master Gardener orientation. FEDPC-Gainesville annually hosts a Virus Inclusion Workshop.

The FEPDC CLINC is open from 8-12:00 AM and 1-5:00 PM Monday - Friday (except for University Holidays).
